Plenty Gorge Parklands, 22km
There’s a host of walking and bike trails, picnic facilities, and recreational space around the Plenty Gorge Parklands. Perfect for relaxing on a summer’s day, the Blue Lake set in the Yellow Gum Recreation Area is a known swimming spot by locals.

Bundoora Park Farm & Cafe, 19km
Set in Melbourne’s North, the farm is open for visitors to explore. Plan ahead to see what farm activities are running on the day of your visit. There is also a cafe and BBQ facilities to recharge after a day of farmyard fun.
Icecream, 11.4km
A stroll to the Wollert General Store to pick up a Golden Gaytime is the perfect treat on a hot summer’s day. A short drive away, Augustus Gelatery, is quickly becoming an institution in Melbourne’s middle suburbs. There are 36 artisan flavours to choose including coconut and pandan, salted caramel, and toasted white chocolate and pomegranate. It’s perfectly located to stop on your way home from a day of adventure.
Funfields, 16.8km
Victoria’s biggest theme park is located just 14 minutes drive from The Patch! There’s plenty to thrill with waterslides, rides, go-karts, mini-golf, and more, making it a great family day out.
